Studies are cited in which The LEARN Program
was used in its entirety or in which major portions were used in
adaptations.
The first version of The
LEARN Program was written in 1976, when the author was at Brown
University. New editions were printed when the author was on faculty
at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and later, when
he moved to a faculty position at Yale University. New editions of
The LEARN Program have been written approximately every two years to
remain current with developments in the field and to be responsive
to data collected from clinical studies by the author and others in
the field.
The most recent version is The
LEARN Program for Weight Management 2000,
published by American Health Publishing Company of Dallas, Texas,
and Distributed by LEARN-The LifeStyle CompanyT (call
1-888-LEARN-41 to order).
